Why Volunteer?

Becoming a volunteer is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. It allows you to contribute to a cause you’re passionate about, gain valuable experience, and create positive change in your community. Below are some different ways in which one can volunteer at Chrysalis.

Ways you can Volunteer

We are always looking for help if you have some time to offer.

Apply Now
Accompaniment and/or Transportation: help women get to and from their appointments.
Knowledge Exchange:  reiki; reflexology, music therapy, fitness/yoga, safety and self-defense techniques, non-violent communication, healthy ways to increase self esteem, creative process /expressive arts, financial planning/literacy and budgeting, Indigenous story telling.
Renovation/Handyperson: various maintenance around the 3 homes.
Gardening / Landscaping: weeding, mowing lawns, raking leaves, gardening and planting (seasonal)
Join our Board of Directors: a minimum one-year commitment to attend Board meetings every other month in a hybrid style of in-person in East Vancouver and remote, and up to 8 additional hours of service per month, including committee work.
